RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot issues in real-time, quickly, with client-facing managers, providing up-to-the-minute details on issues as they are found.
- Interact with global stakeholders and manage user expectations while providing support within agreed SLA.
- Respond to alerts raised for any system failures.
- Willing to handle issues during non-work hours.
- Able to work both independently and within a team setting with a can-do attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to analyze complex problems in a structured manger and demonstrate multitasking.
- Excellent business communication skills.
- Can independently handle escalations, coordinate issues across groups, and be assertive.
- Hands-on experience in Unix, Database, and Java. Excellent skills in writing DB SQL queries and analyzing logs.
- Strong in technical analysis, support services, and troubleshooting.
- Possess an analytical approach; able to do root cause analysis and document.
- Ability to debug code.
- Added advantage: understanding of MQ, Docker, Kubernetes. Relevant experience in SaaS product. Experience in Capital Markets and Fintech Industry.
- Preference given to candidates located in the states of New York or New Jersey. Secondary preference given to candidates willing to travel to the area at least once a month.
TECHNOLOGY USED
- Unix, Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle Database, Java, log4J, docker, ticketing tool, Cron Jobs, JIRA, Back-Office Application GUIS.
