CONTEXT

NeoXam Americas is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, and personable Project Manager.  This person should have prior experience overseeing, guiding and coordinating the various aspects of implementation and deployment of Financial Software, and SaaS or Managed Services programs in the cloud.  This critical role will oversee complex, multi-faceted projects within our software implementations portfolio. You will manage the execution of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, driving operational excellence, and delivering them on time, within scope, and on budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales representatives, product management, engineering, and client delivery, to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 5-7 years of relevant project or program management, and account management experience, preferably within the financial industry. This full-time role will report to the COO of North America.

MISSION & MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage large-scale, cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs

• Project Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within a program, working closely with project managers and other stakeholders
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and internal teams. Manage expectations and provide regular updates on project progress
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and resolve program-related risks and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to program timelines and deliverables
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects meet NeoXam’s high-quality standards and are delivered with a focus on client satisfaction
• Resource Management: Collaborate with Department Heads and Team Leads to allocate resources effectively, ensuring the successful delivery of projects
• Financial reporting: Collaborate with department heads and other stakeholders to track project’s actual and forecast financial data for both time and materials and fixed-price projects
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and implement improvements in project and program management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Document process and methodologies and organize internal training sessions to train consulting teams and make them aware of good practices

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• At least 5-7 years of experience in project or program management, preferably in the financial services sector

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field. PMP, Scrum, or Agile certifications are a plus

• Proven account management experience

• Candidate should possess a clear understanding of the principles of Project Management and appropriate methodologies and processes

• Experience in financial software or specifically enterprise data management, reporting, and reconciliation a plus

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Proven track record managing project implementation of financial software (asset management and/or capital markets)

• Great track record of ability to meet deadlines and to deliver to budget

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills

• Must possess exceptional customer service skills

• Demonstrate capability to communicate and articulate professionally.

• Understanding of general IT principles, IT organization and IT risk management a plus.

• Ability to work independently and driven to be a strong team contributor

• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task

This position is based in on the East Coast of United States.
